5minutes speech of public speaking.
Oh dear, I've just finish my speech yesterday. I was not that nervous when I want to go infront and start my speech. Yet I don't know what happen, my hand which holding the cue cards are shivering damn serious that my friend also noticed that. I'm did not very well to myself actually. Yet, still I've did it and luckily,I got back some quite well and satisfied comments from my tutor and my friends. There goes my 1st formal speech ever.
The hidden functions of hand phones.A very good evening to my tutor, Ms Chan Wan Ling, and also fellow friends. Is everyone here own at least one mobile phone, or commonly known as hand phone in Malaysia? I believe that all of you will answer yes for sure. This can make an evident that a hand phone is such a common yet useful gadget in our daily life. Nowadays, hand phones can carry out so many functions for the users. Forget about making a call or sms, a hand phone can let us captures photos and records video clips with its camera, enjoy the music and songs with the mp3 player or walkman function, or even make a video call via the 3G service. However, did u know except the functions which commonly in used a hand phone also has some hidden functions that most of you did not noticed about? Hidden functions actually means that the functions that are not in the list of menu. Feeling curious with it? Now I would like to share with you about these hidden functions that can be done in times of grave emergencies.
Firstly, when you are in a great emergency that you need your hand phone to make an emergency call, but at this time, you found your mobile is under a very low battery condition.... “ Sei fo lo!! What can I do now?! Die lo die lo..” Maybe at this time you can ask someone around you to borrow a hand phone. But what if there is no one around you? Now you can activate the hidden battery power of your hand phone. Press the key *3370#. Your phone will restart with this reserve and it will show a 50% increase of battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your phone next time.
Next, when your hand phone was been stolen or robbed, what can you do?? Instead of just crying there, you can disable your stolen hand phone. Of course you must have your phone’s serial number before losing it. By pressing *#06#, you will get a 15-digit code. This code is unique for every phone, which means that there will be no repetition of the same code on the other phone. Copy the code down and keep it somewhere safe. So when your phone got stolen, you can call your service provider and tell them the code, they will then able to block your phone. So even if the thief changes the SIM card, the phone will be totally useless. For sure you wouldn’t get back your phone, but at least the one who stole it can neither use it nor sell it. If everyone does this, there would be no point of people stealing hand phones.
Lastly, when you have your phone with the keypad locked or you are in a remote place where there is no network available, the emergency number worldwide for mobile phone, 112 would probably help you. This is another situation that make you shout out:” die lo!!!”. However, this emergency number will enable your mobile to search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you. But be careful, this number also can be dailed if there is network available.
Yet, these hidden functions seem to be misunderstanding for some brands of hand phones, which means that not all the brands of phones are available with these functions. In conclusion, the hidden functions mentioned above are really useful when we are in a great emergency. So, when you meet these status next time, don’t be panic and think of these hidden functions which may probably help you. Get it in your mind?

在现实生活中，我们都一定会遇见‘双面’这个词，或者这类的人。那到底什么是双面呢?这是我个人的解释，双面是指一个人在不同地方或场合，又或者在不同人面前会有不同的行为，语气和态度。比方说，一女的在男的面前装傻，装可爱，装无辜。在女的面前却一点都不笨，喜欢勾心斗角，还有一副非常欠扁的样子。非常贴切的例子是在<<家好月圆>>当中的嘉美一角。在阿卡和全世界人面前在装无辜，却一直在陷害和冤枉阿月。这其实已经非常讨厌了！
另一个例子，一位公司的某某上司在老板面前是个‘擦鞋仔’，却一直刻薄，毒骂下属。这种情况其实非常得普遍，在电视剧已是见惯不怪。
也曾经发生过这样的事，在中四的时候都会希望能得到一些学生团体的职位。记得在森林之王的孩子的团体中，非常庆幸地得到其中一个小职位。可是却因为某某在大的面前说该人的坏话，而该人也真的不敌他，因此跌出名单中。某某还会非常虚伪地在安慰该人，该人一笑而过。其实该人一听就知某某在说风凉话。
最近在香港和Astro On Demand 热播中的无线重头剧<<宫心计>>中正反映了这种现象。尚宫局个个尔虞我诈，勾心斗角，后宫佳丽亦是这样。除了刘三好，每个人都非常完美的呈现出双面这个现象。看了这部剧，我更相信这世界并不是我们想象中的简单。每个行业或每件事都会有着黑暗的一面。只是部分的人包括我都选择不去看这一面，免得想太多。只要做好自己的本分，其实也不用担心太多。
大家都可能遇过很多这类的事情。其实人这么做都是是为了保住自己。可能做双面人，损人利己也不是他们想要的。我们也不能做些什么。每个人的双面程度都不同，而任何人都不能确定自己不拥有双面，只要不伤害其他人，其实也没什么。

墙上的钟一直在动，代表时间也不停地在流逝。日历一页一页地被撕掉，也象征着时间一天一天地过去。人类伟大的文明与科技的发达也不能把时间停留或挽留。时间一秒一秒地过去，这个世界也一点一点地改变。改变的速度也跟时间一样，说快不快，说慢不慢。
以前小学时候有一位朋友，他可是全级成绩最好的学生，而且还是连续三年。结果地位不保，第四年的名次就开始降了。直到中五的学校考试，更是无话可说，剩下几科及格而已。几年之间已绰绰有余地改变一位学生的成绩。
曾经在小学时多么要好的朋友，到了中学因为不同班，所以也很少谈天了。同样的，曾经何时，有两位朋友，一对真的要好到令人误会她们是lesbian的好姐妹，也因分割在不同的班上课而逐渐少谈了。在不同学校或地方的也就更不用说了。因此，几个月就足以淡化一段友谊。
世界一直在改变，人们也不能改变这个事实。虽然说不是一朝一夕，可是它的确一直在变。地球暖和的问题变得越来越严重。人的真假善恶也一直会变。下一秒会发生什么事?人们根本无法知道。就算是算命师也不能100%预测他自己的命运。可能下一秒，你的男朋友会向你求婚。可能下一秒，你女朋友向你提出分手。可能下一秒，你买了即将会中头奖的马票。可能下一秒，你遇到意外，死于非命。世界上没有不可能的事。只要一秒就能改变你的命运。只要一秒的改变，一切事与物可能会截然不同。人类不能随意改变什么，也只好服从上天的安排。
我们能控制一切的改变吗?我们能确保自己不会变吗?没有谁可以回答到这些问题。改变其实不一定是负面的，当然也可以是正面的。人们活在当下，就不得不适应一切的改变。学会珍惜，就能减少遗憾，就算有再多的改变，至少你也曾经珍惜过。

去年和今年到底差在哪儿?
去年，
我才那十七岁，未成年的无知；
今年，
长大了，已不能逗留在那无邪的童话当中。
去年，
过着最后一年中学生活，想赶快离开之余也带点不舍；
今年，
第一年的大学生活已让我认识‘枯燥’与‘闷’这两位朋友。
去年，
就算功课再多我也可以安然无事地躲过；
今年，
功课就像难解的绳子死缠着我。
去年，
光头光头；
今年，
发现头发原来还会长。
去年，
还在与不舍拉扯，犯贱的我只能衷心祝福；
今年，
华丽懈逅，无奈也得承受分隔两地的痛苦。
去年，
已成历史，再也不能挽回什么；
今年，
还有两个多月的时间补救。
去年和今年到底差在哪儿?
无可否认，的确有差。
但还能百分百保证，这里一直存在着同一个景辉。
